PAYMENT & INSURANCE INFO

We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 512-258-1636. Please remember that you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. We are an out of network, fee for service, non-contracted provider.

INSURANCE

As an out-of-network, fee for service provider, we do not file dental or medical insurance claims. However, we will provide you with documentation to file your claims as allowed by our non-contracted status.

You are responsible for the full fees charged by our office, regardless of your insurance coverage. Typically, insurance companies respond to claims within four to six weeks and reimburse you according to your policy. We ask you to Please keep us updated on any changes to your insurance plan.

 

Regarding payment from your insurance company: When it comes to insurance payments, you're reimbursed directly. If, by chance, the insurance company issues a payment to our practice instead of you, we'll promptly return the check to them for reissuance directly to you. Sometimes, insurance companies make administrative errors that may delay your reimbursement, but rest assured, we're happy to help you navigate through any challenges.

Medical Insurance: If you have questions or concerns regarding medical insurance, we are happy to assist based on your individual policies. 

Please note: Dr. Gallagher is an Opted-Out provider with Medicare (meaning neither Dr. Gallagher nor the insured member/patient can file for any services provided by Dr. Gallagher). Prior to treatment, Medicare patients are required to sign the Medicare Opt-Out notice. We will discuss this prior to scheduling your appointment. 

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Payment Methods Accepted 

We accept cash, personal checks, (cashier checks if day surgery/hospital case), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please note when paying with any type card there is a 3.5% merchant processing fee applied. 

Treatment Payments

For in-office consultations and surgical treatment services, payment is due in full on the day of the service. 

 

For day surgery cases, fees are due in full at your History and Physical exam, typically scheduled 2-3 weeks prior to surgery. Please note that fees for the surgery center and anesthesiologist are separate from our surgical fees. You will receive instructions on how to obtain those fees from them.

Financial Options

We do not offer in office payment plans but we do offer third-party financing through CareCredit and LendingClub. Please click the links below for more information:
